“Designer Élise Fouin had already established a first collaboration on the material with the ceramic manufacturer Jars, based in Drôme: in 2019, she designed the tableware for the Halle aux Grains, the Bras family restaurant within the Bourse de Commerce in Paris. This time, the designer has created the house's very first lamps, the stars of a collection of decorative accessories (tray, vase, candleholder, etc.), transforming the stoneware into a texture made of hollows and folds. Lit or unlit, the pieces capture the light in their reliefs. Taken from Élise Fouin's experiments on paper, they were reproduced in molds by the artisans at Jars, a labeled Entreprise du patrimoine vivant. The lights are available in a pendant and two table models - like here - and in three shades close to natural tones (shell white, pebble gray, and aquamarine).”
