For the grain market, Michel and Sébastien Bras entrusted designer Elise Fouin and the Jars factory with the creation of ceramic pieces for their tableware. Inspired by a natural approach, she wanted to connect the nourishing earth, the source of plants and grains, with the earth used to shape these essential objects. Elise, deeply connected to the rural world, draws inspiration from her childhood spent watching her father plow the fields. She continues this connection through a dish from her collection and the Semoir plates, evoking the cogwheel of the seed drill. The stoneware, a selected material, reveals a subtle relief evoking the earth, enhanced by the expertise of our artisans.
